About the plan

The Fernleaf Baekea Babingtonia crenulata is listed as Vulnerable under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, and is listed as Threatened under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988. The species is endemic to a small area in northeastern Victoria, where there are currently between 220 and 1000 plants occurring in five wild populations. Major threats to populations include weed invasion and altered fire regimes.

This national Recovery Plan for B. crenulata details the species' distribution and biology, conservation status, threats, and recovery objectives and actions necessary to ensure its longterm survival.
