About the plan

The Narrowleaf Bentgrass Deyeuxia pungens is listed as Vulnerable under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and Threatened under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988. The species is endemic to eastern Victoria, where about 220 plants grow in two populations. The main threat may be grazing by feral animals.

This national Recovery Plan for D. pungens details the species' distribution and biology, conservation status, threats, and recovery objectives and actions necessary to ensure its longterm survival.
