About the recovery plan

The Snow Pratia (Lobelia gelida) is listed as Vulnerable under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Listed as Pratia gelida) and Threatened under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988 (Listed as Pratia gelida). The species is endemic to eastern Victoria, where there are 1,500–3,000 plants occurring in six wild populations. Threats to populations include weed invasion, trampling and climate change.

This national Recovery Plan for L. gelida details the species' distribution and biology, conservation status, threats, and recovery objectives and actions necessary to ensure its long-term survival.
