About the poster
A major lead-up event to National Threatened Species Day, the Hands on for Habitat Awards are a partnership between the Federal Government's Natural Heritage Trust and Cadbury Yowie. More than 4800 primary school students entered last year's Award's, which required the children to draw and research a threatened species in its habitat. Winning entrants received prize money to go towards establishing a habitat project in their school environment, as well as individual prizes.
