Benchmark Four - Implement and Monitor

Proportion of actions achieved and measurement of indicators.

Aim: Once the objectives and priorities have been identified in an action plan, Council must implement activities and monitor their outcomes using previously selected performance indicators. This benchmark will be attained once a council can indicate achievement of on-ground changes in accordance with the action plan.

Actions to Assist in Benchmark Attainment

Utilising Funding Opportunities, aim to increase the resources dedicated to natural resource management in your local government area.
Take advantage of available workshops and Training modules to increase awareness and build capacity of council employees and community.
Access and distribute Educational Materials to employees and the community.
Manipulate any pertinent Templates or Examples to ensure local relevance.
Regularly record results against Indicators.
Establish feedback reporting mechanisms to allow the communication of positive results to Council and the community.
