Lodging your application

Your application and supporting documents may be faxed to the number below in order to facilitate the processing of the application. However, permits will not be issued until the fee has been received.

Please note: If you are paying by credit card, a faxed copy of your application and supporting documentation will be sufficient.

Supporting documentation

Please ensure that, where applicable, you attach copies of:

Proof of ownership of the specimen (e.g. receipt) in the case of personal imports or exports
Overseas CITES Export permit (in the case of CITES import application)
Proof of legal acquisition of the specimen (e.g. state collection permit)

You will also need to complete Supplementary forms for non-commercial activities if instructed to do so in Questions 19, 20 & 21.
