Proposed Wildlife Trade Management Plan — 'Protected and Threatened Plants in the Cut-flower Industry — Sustainable Management Plan 2013-2015'

This plan has been prepared by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage for consideration as an approved Wildlife Trade Management Plan under section 303FO of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the Act). It is proposed that should the plan be approved it will be in force for three (3) years from the date of the declaration.

This draft management plan details the status of native flora under NSW legislation and the associated licensing and reporting requirements for harvesters collecting native flora for the cut-flower industry. It also details the requirements for authorised artificial propagators.

In accordance with the provisions of section 303FR of the Act, you are invited to comment on this proposal. Please submit your comments by 25 March 2013.
