An offshore sandspit providing feeding and roosting habitat for seabirds.

A small area of higher sand on a large tidal sand spit extending from Cape Rouge. No vegetation exists on Beatrice Islet.

Condition and Integrity
The clearing of a boxthorn infestation resulted in serious erosion problems. To date subsequent attempts at revegetation have failed.
About 10ha, 3km east of Kingscote in Nepean Bay.
