Services and experience

Services provided:

Provision of services and products related to enhancement of soil carbon through vermiculture. SCRAP (and Peter Carroll) has over 17 years experience in worm farming for both waste reduction and enhancement of soil carbon through the application of vermiproducts and training in the use of worms for such outcomes.

Mr Carroll is a professional teacher (BA Dip Ed) with over 22 years experience in environmental education including worm farming. In the past 5 years SCRAP has developed commercial markets for worms and vermiproducts including aerated vermiliquer, vermicompost, vermicast, compost teas for particular soil types and works with the Australian Wormgrowers Assn on proposals for carbon enhancement in soils which worms are clearly recognised globally for playing a critical role within. SCRAP/Mr Carroll have also worked with Aboriginal organizations in the past including Gandagarra and Darug peoples of western and south western Sydney.
