Many people imagine the seabed to be a flat, featureless place. In fact, the seabed surrounding Australia is crowded with networks of canyons, undersea mountains, plateaus and trenches.
Thanks to detailed mapping of our undersea environment, we can now explore some of these features in animated 'flythroughs' of the underwater landscape.
