About the report

The Estuary General Fishery Environmental Impact Statement is from the New South Wales Fisheries. The report has been prepared against the Environment Australia Guidelines for the Ecologically Sustainable Management of Fisheries, which will be used to assess the ecologically sustainability of the fishery and to determine its eligibility for exemption from Commonwealth controls for the export of wildlife, currently under provisions of the Wildlife Protection (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1982. Comment period closes 18 January 2002.
