About the submission
This document has been prepared by the Queensland Fisheries Service (QFS), with the assistance of fishery researchers of the Agency for Food and Fibre Sciences (AFFS), and the Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol, Department of Primary Industries.
The QFS manages the fishery in Queensland waters under the Fisheries Act 1994 and in Commonwealth waters adjacent to the Queensland coast under an arrangement in Part 5 of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 (Commonwealth).
Invitation for comment closed 2002.
