Discontinued export approval - 2010
In June 2010, the Victorian Department of Primary Industries (VDPI) confirmed to the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts that the Victorian Jellyfish Fishery no longer requires, or seeks to retain, export approval. Therefore product harvested from the fishery cannot be legally exported after 10 April 2010.
VDPI can re-apply for export approval for the Victorian Jellyfish Fishery at any time in the future.
