Discontinued export approval - 2012
In February 2012, the Department of Fisheries Western Australia notified the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities that they would allow the South and West Coast Purse Seine Managed Fisheries' export approval to lapse until further notice. Therefore product harvested from the fishery cannot be legally exported after 4 February 2012. The Department of Fisheries Western Australia can reapply for export approval for the South and West Coast Purse Seine Managed Fisheries at any time
