Coral Sea Conservation Values Atlas
The Conservation Values Atlas is an interactive web-based tool developed to support marine bioregional planning.
The Atlas incorporates a range of national data on Australia's marine environment as well as specific information on the location and area of important marine habitats, ecological features, known breeding and feeding areas for protected species and other conservation values in the Coral Sea region.
When complete, the Conservation Values Atlas will present an interactive information base for all of Australia's marine regions. It will be a source of data for people who wish to undertake new ocean-based developments as well as provide an information resource for anyone who has a responsibility or interest in conserving marine habitats and species.
