These maps are not to be used for navigation. They have been produced for the purpose of public consultation by the Department as part of the marine bioregional planning program. These maps, as well as the data within them, are not to be used for any other purpose.
These maps show the proposed marine reserve in relation to nautical features. For detail on zoning of the proposed reserve please refer to the Coral Sea consultation documents.
Overview of the proposed zoning scheme
The nautical maps provided should be viewed in conjunction with the proposed zoning scheme for the Coral Sea Commonwealth Marine Reserve. The nautical maps below are presented on six sub-regions for the proposed Coral Sea Commonwealth marine reserve. These sub-regions remain part of the proposed marine reserve and are not individual reserves.
