A draft marine bioregional plan and a Commonwealth marine reserve network proposal for the South-west Marine Region were released for public comment in May 2011. The consultation period has now closed.
Anyone with an interest in the marine bioregional planning process is encouraged to stay up to date by subscribing to receive our email updates.

About marine bioregional planning
Marine bioregional planning is being implemented in five large marine regions.
