About the bulletin
The South-east Region Bulletin is published by the Marine and Biodiversity Division of the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. It is specifically relevant to the commercial fishing industry and is distributed to members of the industry and other interested parties as required.
The bulletin provides updates on activities in the South-east marine environment, general information regarding the South-east Commonwealth Marine Reserve Network and on upcoming events, and advice to fishers about management arrangements within the Reserves.
It is a useful tool that contributes to the maintenance of open and cooperative communication channels with the commercial fishing industry.
