Part 1 – Zeehan Commonwealth Marine Reserve

All of that area within the Southern Ocean contained within and bounded as follows*:

  1. commencing at the point of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 40 minutes east;
  2. then south along the meridian of longitude 143 degrees 40 minutes east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 57 minutes south;
  3. then west along the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 57 minutes south, to its intersection with the meridian of longitude 143 degrees 15 minutes east;
  4. then south-westerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 6 minutes 20 seconds east;
  5. then south-westerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 40 degrees 9 minutes south, longitude 142 degrees 39 minutes 30 seconds east;
  6. then south along the meridian of longitude 142 degrees 39 minutes 30 seconds east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 42 degrees 30 minutes south;
  7. then west along the parallel of latitude 42 degrees 30 minutes south, to its intersection with the meridian of longitude 141 degrees 51 minutes east;
  8. then north along the meridian of longitude 141 degrees 51 minutes east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 40 degrees 13 minutes south;
  9. then north-easterly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 49 minutes south, longitude 143 degrees 3 minutes east;
  10. then north-easterly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 9 minutes east; and
  11. then east along the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, to the point of commencement.

Part 2 – Special Purpose Area Zone (IUCN Category VI – Managed Resource Protected Area)

All of that area within the Southern Ocean contained within and bounded as follows*:

  1. commencing at the point of latitude 39 degrees 49 minutes south, longitude 143 degrees 3 minutes east;
  2. then southerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 6 minutes 20 seconds east;
  3. then south-westerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 40 degrees 9 minutes south, longitude 142 degrees 39 minutes 30 seconds east;
  4. then south along the meridian of longitude 142 degrees 39 minutes 30 seconds east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 42 degrees 30 minutes south;
  5. then west along the parallel of latitude 42 degrees 30 minutes south, to its intersection with the meridian of longitude 141 degrees 51 minutes east;
  6. then north along the meridian of longitude 141 degrees 51 minutes east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 40 degrees 13 minutes south; and
  7. then north-easterly along the geodesic to the point of commencement.

Part 3 – Multiple Use Area Zone (IUCN Category VI – Managed Resource Protected Area)

All of that area within the Southern Ocean contained within and bounded as follows*:

  1. commencing at the point of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 40 minutes east;
  2. then south along the meridian of longitude 143 degrees 40 minutes east, to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 57 minutes south;
  3. then west along the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 57 minutes south, to its intersection with the meridian of longitude 143 degrees 15 minutes east;
  4. then south-westerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 59 minutes 45 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 6 minutes 20 seconds east;
  5. then northerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 49 minutes south, longitude 143 degrees 3 minutes east;
  6. then north-easterly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, longitude 143 degrees 9 minutes east; and
  7. then east along the parallel of latitude 39 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds south, to the point of commencement.
