Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) are recognised internationally as one of the key ways to preserve marine biodiversity. Australia has one of the largest MPA estates in the world, with further networks planned across our Exclusive Economic Zone. The benefits of MPAs, including perspectives of marine industry and conservation sector stakeholders are explored in this 14 minute video, introduced by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts Peter Garrett.
