The CITES Management Authorities of Australia and Madagascar have jointly nominated the Great White Shark for listing on Appendix II of CITES at the 13th Conference of Parties (CoP) to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in October 2004. Information on CITES is available from:

The original nomination has been revised to remove the zero-quota annotation from the proposal.
