Thesaurus of environmenrtal terms, or a good collection dev. policy?

Dear colleagues,

I am new to this list, and am keen on using it for the exchange of all
kinds of info relating to environmental librarianship (including but
not limited to exchange of serials, duplicates lists etc.)

As an opening request: does anyone have a good thesaurus of
environmental terms which I could use? It would need to be an in-house
thesaurus which you'd be happy to share: I'm happy to post the subject
headings thus far entered onto my system if anyone wants.

Failing a free thesaurus, is there a good one which I might be able to
buy, relevant to the Australian conservation movement? Any ideas,
recommendations?

Any responses gratefully received.
Regards.
Jeremy Phillips
I'd also be interested in looking at any collection development
policies which people have come up with for their collections. This is
another big project before me at present.
