STRAIT  TO  THE  FUTURE - 8th Asia-Pacific Specials, Health and Law
Librarians Conference

Hobart, 22-26 August 1999.  

	The Environmental  Librarians  Network  invite you to meet at the
conference as follows:

	Tuesday 24 August  - 12.30pm  - informal gathering in one of the
Wellington Rooms downstairs.  It is suggested   that you take your lunch
down there to eat.  The main purpose of this meeting is to	 plan
transport details for dinner and library visits on Wednesday.

	 Tuesday 24 August    7.0pm -    Dinner at a restaurant in the
vicinity of the Conference - details to be
notified.  Suggestions welcome.

	Wednesday 25th August - 1.30pm - Meet for transport to the Antarctic
Division Library, Kingston (shared taxis or 
	
bus to be paid by participants.)   Return to Hobart to visit CSIRO Marine
Research Library  followed by visit to Tas. Dept of Primary Industries,
Water &
Environment.  Time for coffee somewhere in all of this.  

	We need to know numbers so please  indicate to
joy.scott@npws.nsw.gov.au  or  barbaraa@dpiew.tas.gov.au  if you are likely
