Gregorian calendar
STANDARDS Australia has published details of representation of dates in
the Gregorian calendar and times, and representations of periods of
time.
For the information technology industry, the details are "AS/NZS
3802:1997 Data elements and interchange formats - Information
interchange - Representation of dates and times (ISO 8601:1988)".
