A national review of environmental education and its contribution to sustainability in Australia

This project identified, at a strategic level, the status and needs of sustainability education in the key sectors of formal education, industry and the community in Australia. The final report is in five volumes, with summary findings available for each volume.

Sustainable schools - international perspective

The research examined overseas initiatives, and reflected upon experiences, achievements and lessons learnt. The results of the research informed the development of the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative. The final report is Whole-school Approaches to Sustainability: An international review of sustainable school programs (2004) 

Pre-service teacher education - a review of models for professional development

The goal of this research project was to identify and assess the critical success factors of a range of professional development strategies and models that could be used to mainstream learning for sustainability approaches in pre-service teacher education programs in Australia. The final report is Whole-school approaches to sustainability: A review of models for professional development in pre-service teacher education (2006) .
