What training is available?

Individuals who are new to the insulation industry may be required to undertake insulation specific training. To find out more, please visit the Australian Government's SkillsInfo website where you will find the contact details of the Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) who currently have insulation training on scope that meets the requirements of the Energy Efficient Homes Package.

Small business skills

Individuals who intend to establish a small business are encouraged to undertake training in small business competencies.

Occupational Health and Safety

Individuals need a competency in Occupational Health and Safety. The course code is CPCCOHS1001A.

Registered Training Organisations are listed by the National Training Information Service. To find training in your state or territory:

  1. Go to www.ntis.gov.au 
  2. Click on "search" button on the top tool bar
  3. In the "search for" field Enter the course code (e.g. CPCCOHS1001A), check the tick box for the type of training AND the "RTOs by scope" box
  4. Then check the tick box for your State or Territory
  5. Click "search"
  6. Select a provider to click through to the courses on offer
