About this policy statement
The littoral rainforest and coastal vine thickets of eastern Australia is listed as critically endangered under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). This policy statement is intended to provide a guide for stakeholders on the reasons for listing, how to identify, assess and manage the ecological community and the EPBC Act implications of its listing.
The policy statement should be read in conjunction with the listing advice for this ecological community and also 1.1 significant impact guidelines - matters of national environmental significance
