About this policy statement
This policy statement provides general guidance to assist you in determining whether your proposed activity is likely to have a significant impact and whether you need to refer your proposed activity to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Heritage for a decision on whether assessment and approval is required.
This policy statement should be read in conjunction with Significant Impact Guidelines 1.1 - Matters of National Environmental Significance
