Comments on the interim report of the Independent review of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

The period for written comments on the interim report has now closed. The Secretariat is currently processing all comments received. Comments will be posted on this website as soon as possible according to the order in which they were received (unless confidentiality was requested).

An interim report on the Independent review of the EPBC Act was released on 29 June 2009. This report outlines the major themes raised in public submissions, the consultation process and the Senate Committee Inquiry. The review sought further public comment in response to the interim report.

Questions about the interim report and the review generally should be directed to the Secretariat.
