This database has been compiled by the Environmental Resources Information Network (ERIN) as part of the Department of the Environment and Heritage's commitment to the National Land and Water Resources Audit Theme 3: Vegetation Cover, Condition and Use and the National Vegetation Information System.
The aim of the database is to provide a resource for people engaged in Land Cover Change and Condition Projects where they can list their work and/or list work being carried out by others around Australia.
This is the first release of the database (therefore is presently in Draft form). It is based primarily on information gained from a survey distributed by ERIN, referenced library sources and project information published on the world wide web. It has been compiled in Microsoft Access.
The database is available as PDF and Microsoft Access files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view the PDF file.
A brief description of the fields in the database are given below. If you would like to amend an entry related to your work (project managers only) or if you would like to add a project to the database, please save all the fields listed below (text) or use the Excel proforma below and send all fields (even those that are blank) to the project manager. Please put 'Land Cover Bibliography' in the title of the email.
