Framework for determining environmental watering actions
A long-term framework for Commonwealth environmental watering actions has been developed. It prioritises actions and matches them with available water. The approach was developed based on advice from the Environmental Water Scientific Advisory Committee and following consultation with stakeholders from across the Murray-Darling Basin. The comments received have informed the final framework and will be further considered as it is implemented. As we continue to develop and refine our approach, opportunity for further stakeholder input will be provided.
The framework is currently being reviewed and an updated document will be provided in coming months.
