Green Loans
Home Sustainability Assessment Services
Schedule of Fees
Effective 4 March 2009
Accredited Assessors contracted with the Australian Government to provide home sustainability assessment services for the Green Loans Program will be paid according to the Schedule of Fees on satisfactory completion of authorised assessment services, and the presentation of a correctly rendered invoice in accordance with the contract.
The Australian Government retains the right to revise the Schedule of Fees on the Program website providing a minimum of thirty (30) days notice.
The Schedule of Fees is only valid for home sustainability assessment services provided under contract to the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (DEWHA) for the Green Loans Program.
The Schedule of Fees for Green Loans Program funded assessments has been developed taking into account the level of expertise (minimum qualifications) required by Assessors, the complexity of the assessment task, the number of assessment services that can be conducted during a single day, and existing market rates for similar services.
The Schedule of Fees recognises that this assessment service is not as complex as that required for a building or planning regulatory assessment such as those conducted under the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) for the Building Code of Australia.
Assessors are able to conduct up to five (5) Home Sustainability Assessments per day for the Green Loans Program.
Schedule of Service Charges

This Schedule of Service Charges is effective as at 4 March 2009 and is subject to variation by the Department at any time at the Department's absolute discretion. The Department will give prior notification to the Assessor of any changes to this Schedule of Service Charges.
