- All employees are located in the ACT.
- All employees are employed under the Public Service Act 1999.
- Classifications are in line with the Environment Australia Certified Agreement 1998–99.
The 1999–2000 staffing figures include 13 part-time officers, nine non-ongoing (temporary) employees, of which two are part time, and 73 ongoing employees, of which 11 are part time.
Consultants
During 1999–2000 $968,485 was paid for consultancy services, of which $382,508 was paid to complete contracts from previous years. The total number of consultancies was 96.
Performance pay
The Commission employed two staff members at the SES level who were eligible for performance pay. The amount paid was $24,972.60.
