How do you find out who is interested?
These questions will help you to identify people, groups and organisations that need to be informed, consulted or involved in some way:
- who has detailed knowledge about this heritage place?
- who owns and manages the land where the place is found?
- who are its custodians and caretakers?
- who keeps records?
- are any specialists interested (eg ecologists, anthropologists or architects)?
- who will be affected?
To further help you to identify people interested in your place, you can look at a more detailed set of questions and a list of types of individuals and organisations who might be interested.
