Benefits of project
This project offers a very visible heritage conservation outcome on a landmark building that is significant to the Islamic community. The Adelaide Mosque is on the Council's Heritage Trails and these works will restore its prominence in the street and the precinct.
The Adelaide Mosque Society has made generous contributions to this project both financially and in kind.
