Andersons Mill Flume and Water Wheel conservation works: outcomes
Benefits of project
The site provides a tourist destination in the area, as well as a location for events and festivals to support the local community. Youth involved in the running of the annual Anderson's Mill Festival are able to see how preserving heritage provides benefit to others.
The Flume and Waterwheel are a major attraction, and these repairs will ensure that visitation and interpretation of the site continues.
