Andersons Mill Flume and Water Wheel conservation works: significance of site
Anderson's Mill and Water Wheel is one of the most substantial and intact mill complexes in the country, and is an important surviving example of Georgian-derived colonial industrial design.
The Mill was purchased by the State Government so that people could have access to it to understand its operation, and learn how the Mill and its owners contributed to the development of Victoria from the gold rush era.
