Everglades Garden Stage 2: significance of site
The gardens were designed by landscape architect Paul Sorenson, and are noted for their unusually rich collection of exotic flora, the grotto pool and magnificent stone work in the walls and rock gardens.
The house is an early Australian example of the influence of the European modern architecture movement.
