Project description
Activities undertaken in this project include:
- building restoration including roof repair and replacement
- replacement of failed rainwater systems
- conservation of stonework and stained glass
- repairing and refinishing of internal joinery
- bell and organ conservation
- external works and landscaping to public areas
- provision of new toilets and kitchen servery area near vestry
- installation of new joinery, cupboards and display as part of the interpretation of the cathedral for tourists and visitors.
