Tasmanian Forest Tourism Development Programme
Under the Tasmanian Forest Tourism Development Programme $2 million will be provided to assist the development of forest-based tourism infrastructure in Tasmania focussing on the new reserves created as part of the Tasmanian Community Forest Agreement. Infrastructure could include but is not limited to such works as access points, visitor rest stop amenities, and walking tracks.
Maps of the new formal and informal reserves are available at on the Tasmanian Community Forest Agreement web page. Numbers on the maps refer to the formal reserves listed on pages 18-19 of the Tasmanian RFA Supplementary Agreement also available at that web page.
