Last year, the Government committed to improving the trajectories of 20 birds and 20 mammals by 2020 as part of the Threatened Species Strategy. Today 30 priority plants have been added as targeted for recovery under the Strategy.
Round Five of the Green Army Programme is now open, applications close Thursday 16th June 2016.
Information sessions for prospective applicants will be held in the week beginning 23 May. A webinar will be held on 19 May.
