On 15 December 2015 Australia’s Environment Ministers established the National Clean Air Agreement. The Agreement seeks to ensure that the community continues to enjoy clean air and address the impacts on human health and the environment.
The Minister for the Environment has published the annual list of classes of products the Minister is proposing to consider, during the next financial year, for some form of accreditation or regulation under the Product Stewardship Act 2011.
The Australian Government has developed a draft Conditions Policy to improve the efficiency of assessment bilateral agreements. The draft Conditions Policy is now open for public comment. Comments close Friday 15 May 2015.
