Grants to Voluntary Environment, Sustainability and Heritage Organisations (GVESHO)
Applications are NOW CLOSED.
The Australian Government’s Grants to Voluntary Environment, Sustainability and Heritage Organisations (GVESHO) program is administered by the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (the department) and provides funds to help eligible community–based, not-for-profit organisations to value, conserve and protect Australia's natural environment and historic heritage and to promote sustainability by assisting with their administrative costs.
Grants provided through the program may be used to assist with salaries and salary on-costs for executive and administrative staff; office accommodation rental; electricity, gas, phone and other similar charges; essential office supplies and equipment; staff and volunteer training; photocopying and printing costs; and travel costs incurred on behalf of the organisation.
Further information about the GVESHO program can be obtained by reading the FAQs or by contacting the GVESHO Program Team by email email@example.com or by calling 1800 003 562.
