This Recovery Plan was prepared by Alan Rich in consultation with Andrew Steed NPWS, and finalised by NPWS staff Lynn Baker, Pamela Gray and Katrina McKay.
The Recovery Plan has been substantially based on the Draft Recovery Plan for Elaeocarpus sp. 2 'Minyon' prepared in 1996 by Annette McKinley, David Milledge, Hugh Nicholson and Nan Nicholson.
Results from research on E. sp. Rocky Creek undertaken by Alan Rich in 1995 have also been incorporated into this work.
The authors would like to express their appreciation to the following people for their assistance with the preparation of this plan:
- Rob Kooyman has been an invaluable source of information, unpublished data and editorial assistance.
- Dr Barbara Stewart, Annette McKinley and Nan Nicholson for provision of unpublished data and valuable discussion with regard to both their field survey experiences, the 1996 draft Recovery Plan and the current draft.
- Andrew Benwell for unpublished field survey data and discussion.
- Ralph Woodford of Rous Water who re-discovered the species and provided assistance.
Thanks also to J. G. Tracey for access to unpublished data, Paul O'Sullivan and Anthony Acret of Rous Water, Dr. Caroline Gross of the University of New England, Mark Dunphy of the Firewheel Rainforest Nursery, Kay Bryant of Bryants Native Plant Nursery, Brett O'Donovan of Terania Rainforest Nursery, and the Northern Rivers Rainforest Nursery. Thanks to Alex Floyd for helpful discussions.
Funding has been provided by Environment Australia, and the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
This Recovery Plan will be reviewed five years from the date of publication.
