Grand Canyon Walking Track Conservation Project: outcomes
Benefits of project
The primary aim of this project is the restoration of a significant component of a historic and iconic walking track, providing a safe and enjoyable place for all to enjoy.
Approximately 35,000 visitors per year walk the Grand Canyon. It is a popular site for guided walking groups and commercial/private canyoning parties, and is a vital piece of infrastructure for the Blue Mountains community and tourism industry. By utilising local tradespersons and locally sourced materials, this project will be beneficial to the community.
