This project will address an identified gap in the Centroc Water Security Study by identifying carbon neutral options for water security programming for the region and provide a strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while addressing improved water supply.

Project completion

This project was completed in March 2012 and resulted in:

  • a plan for delivering water security to 2059;
  • a communication plan;
  • a Regional Drought Management Plan;
  • a Regional Workforce Training, Mentoring, Procurement and Resource Sharing Plan; and
