Healthy Learning Program
Booderee National Park's Healthy Learning Program is a fun educational resource aimed at students from year five to year eight. It covers a range of school curriculum subjects including Human Society and Its Environment, English, Maths, Science and Technology, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Drama and Visual Arts. A Teacher's Guide is also included to provide an introduction and overview of the program.
School holiday activities
Every Australian school holidays Booderee puts on a series of fun activities to entertain kids and adults. Check out our website prior to the school holidays for the program or phone our Visitor Centre on 02 4429 7227 or 02 4429 7228 for more information. The programs are always popular so book in advance to secure your place.
Schools and other groups can also book tours guided by our experienced cultural staff. These tours are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These are also very popular, so call our Visitor Centre at least two weeks in advance of when you would like your tour to book a place. Groups of no more than 30 are preferred. We can also organise natural resource management talks on request.
