The area of Booderee has long been a popular destination for visitors. The first tourist accommodation was provided by Christians Minde Guesthouse on Sussex Inlet in 1896. Since then, the area has become a major tourist destination. Booderee National Park and Botanic Gardens offer a broad range of recreational opportunities within a magnificent natural setting.
