Facilities and accommodation

Jabiru, a small town located five kilometres from the Bowali Visitor Centre, has accommodation a service station, a supermarket, a newsagent and post office, a Westpac bank, a travel agency, a medical centre and chemist, police, public telephones, a bakery, a hairdresser, clothes shops, a restaurant and cafe and a swimming pool. There is an airstrip 6.5 kilometres east of the town.

Kakadu National Park offers commercial hotels or motels, budget accommodation, and several camping areas with varying facilities.


Aurora Kakadu - in the Kakadu Wetlands
