Parks Australia is developing this online media centre to help you receive images of the highest quality to help promote the natural and cultural values of Australia's national parks and for educational purposes.

These images are available - free of charge - for reasonable, non-commercial use by the media, students and industry organisations. You must reproduce images appropriately and with due consideration for the honour and reputation of the Director of National Parks. The captions provided must also be used in conjunction with the image in every instance.

New images are added to the database regularly but if you are unable to find the image you need, or if you would like additional information, please contact Park Australia Public Affairs and Communications through our online form.

a. Permission to Reproduce
Images are available - free of charge - for reasonable, non-commercial use by the media, students and industry organisations for the purposes of research or study, criticism or review, parody or satire, reporting news or professional advice by a lawyer, patent attorney or trade marks attorney.

Before using an image in the Online Media Centre for any other purpose (including for commercial purposes), you must first contact Park Australia Public Affairs and Communications through our online form. Unauthorised commercial publication or reproduction of any part of this website is strictly prohibited.

You must reproduce any images appropriately and with due consideration for the honour and reputation of the Director of National Parks.

b. Acknowledging the Copyright Owner
You must acknowledge the Director of National Parks when using an image from the Online Media Centre by using the captions provided.
